Terms of Service
By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. What SquareDrop is
SquareDrop is a local platform that lets you order food from participating restaurants in the Marietta / Cobb County area for delivery or pickup.
We are an intermediary. The restaurants prepare and sell the food; independent drivers deliver it. SquareDrop connects the three and processes delivery payments. We do not cook, and except where the law says otherwise we are not the seller of the food itself.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
- Don’t use the service unlawfully, interfere with it, or misuse other users’ data.
3. Orders, prices and payment
- Menu prices are set by the restaurant. SquareDrop displays them and does not add a commission to the restaurant’s price.
- At checkout you’ll see the breakdown before you confirm: food subtotal, delivery fee (delivery only), a SquareDrop platform fee, applicable tax, and any tip.
- Delivery is paid through our payment processor when you place the order.
- Pickup is pay-at-counter: you order ahead and pay the restaurant directly when you collect. SquareDrop charges you nothing for a pickup order, and the price you pay is the restaurant’s menu price.
- Tips for delivery go 100% to the driver.
- Once a restaurant begins preparing an order it generally cannot be cancelled. If something goes wrong with your order, contact us and we will work with you to put it right.
4. Delivery and pickup
- Delivery is available only within our service area, and delivery time estimates are estimates, not guarantees.
- For pickup, please collect your order promptly. Because pickup food is made before you pay, orders that are not collected may be recorded as a no-show, and repeated no-shows may affect your ability to place pickup orders.
- You are responsible for providing an accurate address and for being reachable for a delivery.
5. Food safety and quality
The restaurant is responsible for preparing your food, for its quality, and for accurately describing allergens and ingredients. If something is wrong with your order, contact us at support@squaredropga.com and we’ll help resolve it.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t: break the law; harass drivers, restaurant staff, or other users; place fraudulent or bad-faith orders; scrape or copy the service; or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties we haven’t expressly made, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, SquareDrop is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the order at issue.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify SquareDrop against claims arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these Terms.
10. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date; continued use after that means you accept them.
